It started out a beautiful day at Coconut Island. Our church family gathered to witness the baptism of 7 people, including Arah and Elijah. This entire area would have been submerged if there had been a tsunami as predicted the day before, but as things turned out it looked much as it always does. Pastor Bob said that the island used to be the site of a hospital; there are some remains of stairs and other structures. Being a place with a history of healing, it lends extra meaning into a symbol of entering the wholeness of Christ.
