We snuck into the Palace Theater to see Kealani before her perfect performance as "Amaryllis" in "The Music Man." The theater is in an historic building in downtown Hilo (read "gets hit by tsunamis and is in poor shape") which is being restored. The womens bathroom had spiral descending steps and antique fixtures. We were all given fans with advertisements from local businesses to keep cool. We are saving Kealani's autograph since she will be too busy to give us one when she is famous.
