In homeschool we are studying ancient Egypt, Nubia, Mesopotamia and the Hittites. Did you know they all made bread and drank beer very similar to ours? Not only that, but the Hittite language is the forerunner of Latin and the Romantic languages, including English? On the other hand, iron was an expensive material because it was rare, they had 1000 gods, ate hippopotamus and drank pig's milk. Arah and Elijah are making necklaces out of "gold" and "lapus lazuli".
